Updates 2

So life is a thing…

I’m sorry for forsaking the blog in the last couple of weeks. I’ve had some pretty major life developments happen and I may not be able to be as consistent with my posts moving forward. But I’ll try my best. I know I left my last post on a ‘cliffhanger',’ and I’ll get to it once I remember what my point was…But meanwhile, I am officially editing To Private Ford Rayburn and book 2 is in a working draft form! Assuming all goes well, I’m still on track to publish in September with book 2 following in a year. Be on the lookout for updates about that as I figure out how I want to go about publishing.

I have also decided to put off working on book 3 while I edit books 1 and 2 and instead have picked back up the sequel to The Chaos Child. This story will follow Faith’s friend, Mona, as she deals with trying to adjust back to reality after being kidnapped by fairies. It has the working title The Fae Hunter and the goal is to share an excerpt with you sometime in the summer. For all those who are more interested in my urban fairy tales, I haven’t forgotten you.

Not much else to report, admittedly. There is a vague plan to improve the website, and I’m working out some ideas for a YouTube channel. I had wanted to get all that done in January, but frankly, my priority will always be writing over everything else. I am, after all, a writer, and it is rather tedious that being an author today also requires you to be a social media influencer if you want to gain traction.
